As a photographer, I work well with young children and families and love to help capture a family’s memories in portrait or event sessions. My philosophy towards working with children stems from my career as a preschool teacher, meeting each child where they are on the day of the shoot and prioritizing having fun. I primarily shoot with natural light and in outdoor locations as I feel that children are most comfortable when allowed to play and explore in nature. Together we can find the right location for your family within the Bay Area! I’m also happy to come to your home and allow your children to show me their own little world.
I hold a Masters in Fine Art in Cinematography from the American Film Institute and have worked in all formats, including 35mm film, with a particular emphasis on narrative and documentary filmmaking. During the week, I am an early childhood educator in the NoPa neighborhood of San Francisco.
